Mom Life (a poem)

My day has begun and I think away... All the things I want to change and what brings today.. Bubble wrap my heart before it falls apart... I whisper to her promises of a lifetime before I depart... Every day is a new adventure that can take its toll... We breathe hope and speak passion trying to make our life whole...

Ask Away: To those on the outside who have the courage to ask the unthinkable…

So many questions... We have all been there... someone asks you something about your child and you are taken back.. you are shocked and you contemplate your response.. Should you kill them with kindness so to speak, do you go down to a different level or do you throw down...

Connect the Dots

She doesn't know how to make meaningful connections I'm told. She lives in her own little world I'm told. She learns at a different pace and level I'm told. Yes some of this is true but that little girl runs to me when I get home from work, she hugs me and tries to say Mom. She cuddles with me at night and we laugh together over favorite songs and dance.
